I'm Katie, an illustrator and printmaker based in Devon. 

 

My practice consists of a mix of digital drawing and physical printmaking processes. Specifically my passion is screen printing. Screen printing can have an unpredictable nature which pushes me to embrace the unexpected and unique qualities that can come with each individual print. 

 

Through my work I will often explore themes of wellbeing and mindfulness. These topics especially interest me, in connection to plants and the act of growing, along with the positive impact it can have on a persons wellbeing. Other areas that interest me and inspire my work include the Cornish coastline and home decor with a connection to the more ‘everyday’.
